[origin: WO9637394A1] A conveyor carriage (4) has running wheels (8) guided in rail parts (16) so as to prevent the conveyor carriage (4) from lifting off transversely to the plane of the rails. Each conveyor carriage (4) contains a driving unit (10) with at least one driving wheel (12) pre-stressed against the rail (6). In order to move the conveyor carriage manually, a lifting device (30) allows the driving wheel (12) to be lifted off and disengaged from the rail (6). In order to simplify the lifting device (30), the lifting device is equipped with a shaft (32) mounted on the conveyor carriage and joined to the driving unit (10) by a flexible coupling member (40).
