[origin: WO9638351A1] A container (1) for a carbonated beverage (2) having a wide open mouth (7) allowing the carbonated beverage (2) to be consumed easily and directly from the container (1). The container (1) also includes a secondary chamber (3) containing fluid at a high pressure, and a means (4) to allow communication between the inside of the secondary chamber (3) and the carbonated beverage (2) upon opening of the container (1). This arrangement causes the liberation of gas from the beverage (2) giving an appearance similar to that of a beverage dispensed from draught.
