Abstract (en)
A chest protector, designed to keep out the cold and wind, consists of a panel (4) of a material which is impermeable to air and water, fastens to a waistbelt (1) and rolls up when not in use. The protector is unrolled to position it over the wearer's chest, where it is fastened with the aid of a strap which goes round the back of the neck. In a variant of the design the upper end of the panel has fastenings for attaching to an undergarment worn by the user.

Le vêtement de protection de la poitrine contre le froid notamment, comprend : une partie (4) correspondant dimensionnellement sensiblement à la poitrine du corps humain, la partie (4) est assujettie à une ceinture (1) avec capacité d'être à volonté pliée et dépliée par rapport à ladite ceinture, la partie (4) présente des moyens de liaison avec la ceinture en position pliée et des agencements pour être maintenue au niveau de la tête en position dépliée. <IMAGE>
