Abstract (en)
The machine has a gap formed between contra-rotating rollers, and into which granular material is drawn for treatment under pressure. The rollers (1,2) are driven by motors (M1,M2) of different sizes, so that one of them has a dragging action. One roller can be coupled to a motor providing the entire power necessary to drive the machine. The smaller motor of the other roller provides power sufficient only to run it up to working speed and keep it there. When switched off, this roller provides the dragging effect. Alternatively, the smaller motor can provide up to 20% of the total power requirement.

Bei Zweiwalzenmaschinen zur Hochdruckzerkleinerung körnigen Gutes, bei denen nur eine der beiden Walzen angetrieben wird, während die andere Walze mittels Reibschluß über das im Walzenspalt gepreßte körnige Gut angetrieben und so als Schleppwalze arbeitet, wird gemäß der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, die Schleppwalze mit einem separaten kleineren Antrieb auszurüsten. Dieser Antrieb ist dabei so dimensioniert, daß das Anlaufen der Schleppwalze sichergestellt und ein Drehzahlabfall vermieden wird. Alternativ ist dieser separate Antrieb so vergrößert, daß er 10 % bis 40 %, vorzugsweise 20 % der erforderlichen gesamten Antriebsleistung übertragen kann. <IMAGE>
