[origin: DE19636979C1] The flat postal despatches (1) are transported in positive engagement between the transport plane and the cover belt with a movement vane (6) movable vertically to the transport plane. The movement vane is arranged in the transport plane between a first and a second transport roller (3a,3b) which follow one another in the transport direction. The movement vane is rotatably arranged around an axis (7) provided in the area of the first transport roller. In the area between the first and second transport rollers a switch roller (8) is arranged, which is movable against the cover belt (4) and vertically to the transport plane.
