Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0709188A1] The colour dosing cylinder (1) is coated with the colour via an elastic coated cylinder (12) in contact with the dosing cylinder and which has its lower section in the colour reservoir. The bottom of the reservoir has a series of rotating discs (18) with axes at right angles to the cylinder axis. The discs stir the colour and ensure an even colour dosing. The discs can be driven by gear teeth cut around the circumferences, with a common drive for the cylinders and the discs. Scraper blades (23,24) each side of the dosing position clean the dosing cylinder prior to dosing and control the thickness of the colour.
