The side walls are double-walled. The seal (32) is arranged in the intermediate space between the walls of the double-walled side walls. It is at a slight distance from or in frictional contact with the walls. The side walls are removable. The seal is chain-type in its structure and has a number of tabs arranged one behind the other. The tabs are arranged on bolts which are threaded onto a cable. Both ends of the tabs are convexly rounded.

Bei einem Farbwerk für eine Rotationsdruckmaschine wird ein Festsetzen von Farbe in Bereichen außerhalb der für den Druck benötigten Ballenlänge des einzufärbenden Zylinders (1) verhindert. Dazu wird eine Einfärb-Farbwanne (2) benutzt, welche gegenüber der Ballenlänge des Zylinders (1) kürzer ausgebildet ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist eine an den Umfang des Zylinders anschmiegbare, einen zwischen Zylinderumfang und der jeweiligen Seitenwand (23,24,26,27) bestehenden Spalt überdeckende Dichtung (32) vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
