Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0829562A2] In a yarn texturising appts., the sliding unit (14) for the yarn guide is moved by an automatic linear drive (5), with the heater and/or cooler positioned at the movement change-over point (3). In the event of a power failure, the control (70) operates the linear drive (5) to move into a given parking position slightly below the change-over point (3) to stop the yarn guide (6) prematurely.
