Abstract (en)
The waste outlet from the bath, basin etc. has a profiled stub (11) into which is pressed the two part trap from inside the bath/basin. The trap comprises a lower moulding (7) and an upper moulding (6) which are held in the shaped waste stub by compression. No separate screw fasteners are required and the fitting is by a simple press action. The lower moulding has an upper flange (73) which locates in the profiled waste stub. The upper moulding has an outer cylinder (61) which locates inside the upper lip of the lower moulding. The upper face (62) of the upper part has an outwards facing lip (63) which is pressed into the profiled waste stub to secure the fitting. An o-ring seal (33) is included in the compression fitting.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Geruchsverschluß für Wannen (1), Becken und dergleichen, der ein von der Beckeninnenseite in die Abflußöffnung einführbares Oberteil (6) und ein über die Beckenunterseite hinausstehendes Unterteil (7) aufweist. Der Siphon besteht aus einem Oberteil (6) und einem Unterteil (7), die ineinandergefügt miteinander verbunden sind. Ferner kann der aus einem Ober- und einem Unterteil bestehende Siphon vor dem Einbau zusammenmontiert und dann von der Innenseite des Beckens oder der Wanne in die Abflußöffnung eingesetzt werden. <IMAGE>
