Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0829615A2] The device has a sampling rod (1) inserted in the ground via a ram until the required sampling depth is reached, with a sampling tool screwed to its bottom end, via a threaded pin (10) and a complementary threaded bore with a conical end face. The overall length of the threaded pin is greater than the depth of the complementary bore, with a similar threaded pin and bore (5) used to coupled the opposite end of the sampling rod to the drive ram.
