Within the double piston (3), a rotary component (6) is rotatably located, the rotary axis (7) of which is parallel to that of the crankshaft (8). The rotary component has a bearing opening (10) arranged eccentrically to the middle cross axis for the crank section (9) of the crankshaft (8). The rotary component (6) is formed as a disc and is rotatably located in a longitudinal central plane of the double piston (3). The crank section (9) has a gearwheel (11) non-rotatably connected to it, which meshes with a non-rotatably arranged hollow wheel (12) within the double piston (3).

Eine pleuellose Doppelkolben-Verbrennungskraftmaschine (1) weist eine Kurbelwelle mit einem abgekröpften Kurbelabschnitt (9) auf, der an einem Doppelkolben (3) angreift. Innerhalb des Doppelkolbens ist ein Drehelement (6) drehbar gelagert, dessen Drehachse parallel zu der (7) der Kurbelwelle verläuft. Das Drehelement (6) weist eine exzentrisch zur Mittelquerachse des Doppelkolbens (3) angordnete Lageröffnung (10) für den Kurbelabschnitt (9) der Kurbelwelle auf. Damit sind bei der Kraftübertragung vom Kolben auf die Kurbelwelle rein rotative Bewegungen vorhanden. <IMAGE>
