[origin: EP0829762A1] Feed and discharge systems are provided for the developer fluid, together with a narrow passage between the inlet and outlet for the photographic material, which comes into contact with the fluid during transport between them. Two half-shells (10,11) are joined together, each comprising two plates secured to each other and forming the inner and outer walls. A central displacement rack member (2) defines with the inner walls of the half-shells passages for the photographic material, the walls having smooth surfaces. The outer walls are equipped to reinforce the inner ones and prevent their distortion under the high fluid pressure, typically having indentations (101) towards the inner walls and which are joined to the latter where they touch.
