[origin: EP0829794A1] The valve (P) for high-pressure hydraulics has a regulating piston (R) acted on by the reduced pressure against a spring loading. This lifts a closure element (E) acted on by the input pressure in the closing direction towards the valve seat. The regulating piston has a hydraulic damper (B). The damper is effective at least for the closing movements of the closure element controlled by the regulating valve. There may be a hydraulic damper for the closing and opening movements of the closure element. The hydraulic damper may have a displacement element.
