[origin: WO9637323A1] The foundry ladle sliding gate comprises a housing (22), a fixed head plate (K2) and a slide plate (K1) which can move relative to the head plate and is for that purpose secured within a slide frame (20) which slides relative to the housing (22) and can be forced by spring elements (10) against the head plate (K2). The slide frame (20) is in the form of a trough whose top longitudinal borders (17) project laterally outwards and include sliding surfaces (18) which during operation match sliding surfaces (19) on the housing side.
