[origin: DE19520513C1] The tenter unit (100) for textile fabric webs comprises a first porcupine disk unit (20) with two porcupine disks (26, 28) arranged along a first axis (27) with a distance between them corresponding to the width of the fabric web (4) and a second porcupine disk unit (40) with a second axis (47) parallel to the first axis (27) and situated in the tilting plane, with two porcupine disks (46, 48) perpendicular to axis (47) and revolving around it at the same circumferential speed as the first two porcupine disks (46, 48). The axial distance between the porcupine disks (46, 48) is equal to the axial distance between the first porcupine disks (26, 28) in their expanded separation. The edges of the porcupine disks (26, 46 and 28, 48) nearly touch each other in their expanded separation, and so the fabric web (4) can be transferred from the first porcupine disks (26, 28) to the second porcupine disks (46, 48) without giving up the pinning to at least one of the porcupine disks (26 or 46 and 28 or 48).
