Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9733365A1] The invention concerns an operational amplifier having two differential amplifiers of which the first is controlled directly and the second is controlled via two potential shift elements. Currents are tapped from common differential current output nodes of the differential amplifiers and reflected as differential current by means of a control stage at an output of the operational amplifier. In this way, a large control range for input and output is obtained with a low supply voltage. The operational amplifier further comprises an output which can be switched so as to be highly resistant. The operational amplifier can be constructed with low circuit complexity.
