Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0830823A1] The make-up applicator comprises a reservoir (12) for the make-up closed by a removable cap (11). A rod (11.2.1) fixed to the cap by one end has an applicator (11.3) carried by its other end. The rod is articulated to the cap about a point (I) enabling its angular displacement relative to the cap axis. This displacement has a maximum amplitude less than 90 deg. The articulation, which has a brake (11.1.4), is constituted by a spherical ball joint (11.2.3) and a hollow housing (11.1.2) located in the cap. The rod also has a wiper (12.3) enabling its cleaning after use.
