The machine has a clamp table (1) with at least one support moving above it in each of the longitudinal (X) and transverse (Y) directions, to support machining units or processing tools and a saw with circular saw blade, which is arranged to cut at least in the longitudinal direction. A carrier (11) is positioned in front of the table and on the same level. The carrier is as long as, or shorter than, the table, and wider than it. The carrier has roller bodies or slide units (13) on its upper face, to move a section (16) of a large panel (14) to be cut from the carrier onto the table along a cutting line (19), and then to return the remaining part of the panel (17) to the carrier. The table has cross struts (2) with suction clamps (3). These are positioned on either side of the cutting line, under the panel section to be cut and under the remaining panel section.

Die Werkzeugmaschine dient der spangebenden, allseitigen Bearbeitung von Platten aus Holz oder Holzaustauschmaterialien. Sie hat einen Spanntisch (1) und wenigstens einen darüber in dessen Längs- und Querrichtung verfahrbaren Support (6), an dem eine Sägevorrichtung mit einem Dreh- und einem Schwenkantrieb für das Sägeblatt angeordnet ist. Um hiermit von großformatigen Platten (14) jeweils zu bearbeitende Plattenabschnitte (16) abtrennen zu können, ist in Querrichtung vor dem Spanntisch (1) eine damit niveaugleiche Auflagervorrichtung (11) angeordnet. Die Auflagervorrichtung (11) hat Wälzkörper oder Gleiteinrichtungen (13) an ihrer Oberseite, um darauf eine großformatige Platte (14) anordnen zu können, die zum Überführen eines abzutrennden Abschnittes (16) auf den Spanntisch (1) auf der Maschine sowie zum Rückführen der Restplatte (17) auf die Auflagervorrichtung (11) verschoben werden kann. <IMAGE>
