Abstract (en)
The splitter has a motor (1) with clutch and transmission unit (2) within a housing which has a hinged connection to a stop (4). In its base position the stop projects beyond a cone (3) which is to be rotated and pressed into the timber to be split. The stop serves to shield the cone and act as a resistance block against the timber moving during splitting. The stop has a restraint (45,46) which sets a limit to outward swivelling of the stop as the cone penetrates the timber. The stop can be used as a lever for manual removal of a timber from the cone or as a resistance stop for the unscrewing action of a reversed motor drive.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine tragbare Vorrichtung zum Spalten von Holz, die eine Antriebseinheit (1), vorzugsweise einen Verbrennungsmotor mit einem Kupplungs- und Getriebeblock (2), sowie einen Spaltkegel (3) aufweist, der an den Kupplungs- und Getriebeblock (2) angekoppelt ist, und einen Anschlag (4) aufweist, der am Gehäuse der Antriebseinheit (1) schwenkbar angelenkt ist. Der Anschlag (4) in Form eines aufrechten Holmes (40') oder eines Rohrgestänges (40) dient zugleich als Schutzeinrichtung zur Abdeckung des Spaltkegels (3), als Verdrehsicherung beim Spalten und ausgeschwenkt als Hebel zum Lösen eines festsitzenden Spaltkegels (3). Diese Holzspaltvorrichtung dient als kräfteschonendes, leistungsfähiges und problemlos einsetzbares Arbeitsgerät zum Holzspalten. <IMAGE>
