[origin: EP0831198A1] When locked, the bolt (6) is held thus by a lock (12). A lock-barrel powered driver moves the bolt into its release setting. The bolt is pre-tensioned into its locked state and the driver is pre-tensioned by a spiral spring. A catch (15) is pre-tensioned to hold the released driver to prevent it re-locking. A sprung disc assembly (3,4) within the stirrup holders (2) moves the releasable stirrup outwards in the key-operated operation. The recessed (10) end of the stirrup uses a displacement surface (11) to move the bolt open as the stirrup homes into its holders.
