Abstract (en)
The cooler has a cooling cylinder forming a stator (1) in which a slowly rotating rotor (2) is mounted so as to be rotatably driven. There is a gap (3) between the rotor and stator. The surfaces of the rotor and stator bounding the gap are coated with a wear-resistant, non-organic anti-stick surface. The anti-stick coating is based on a metal or metal oxide. The width of the gap is between 5 and 15 mm.

Der Dünnschichtkühler für niedrig- bis mittelviskose Stoffe, insbesondere fetthaltige Nahrungsmittel, weist einen ein Stator 1 bildenden Kühlzylinder auf, in dem ein langsam laufender Rotor 2 drehangetrieben gelagert ist. Zwischen Rotor und Stator ist ein Spalt 3 vorgesehen. Damit der Einsatz eines Abstreifers vermieden werden kann und dennoch mit einem hohen Wirkungsgrad bei langer Lebensdauer gearbeitet wird, ist die den Spalt 3 begrenzende Fläche des Rotors 2 und des Stators 1 mit einer verschleißfesten, anorganischen Antihaftbeschichtung versehen. In vorteilhafter Weise handelt es sich bei der Antihaftbeschichtung um eine solche auf der Basis von Metall/Metalloxid. <IMAGE>
