[origin: EP0831382A2] The timing device is provided as a set of false teeth (1) which are moved into an open position for initiating the timing interval and which move into a closed position at the end of the timed tooth cleaning interval. Pref. an animated symbol (15) is visible when the set of teeth are in the open position, the bottom surface of the set of teeth acting as a base and the top surface pref. incorporating reception bores for a tooth mug and a toothpaste tube.
