[origin: EP0831442A2] The burglar alarm device has a threshold value indicator (11) brought into alignment with an indicator stop (12) when the door or window is in the closed position. The threshold value indicator is subjected to an irreversible deformation upon forced opening of the door or window for providing an alarm signal when a given deformation is reached. The relative spacing of the threshold value indicator and the indicator stop prevents their contact under normal loading, with security locking bolts (9) for the door or window on either side of the threshold value indicator and the indicator stop.
