Abstract (en)

The power converter has: - two principal switches (S1,S2) which respectively connect an output (S) to a load (L) via a positive rail (VR+) or a negative rail (VR-) ; - two freewheel diodes (D1,D2) which maintain the current in the load (L) by respectively connecting the output (S) to the positive rail (VR+) or to the negative rail (VR-) ; - two capacitors (C1,C2) between the output (S) and the positive and negative rails (VR+,VR-) ; - an auxiliary circuit (CA) which includes an auxiliary inductance (LA) in series with two opposed unidirectional conducting auxiliary switches (T1,T2) connected between the output (S) and the mid point (M) of a capacitive voltage divider (DC). The divider itself includes two capacitors (CV1,CV2) connected in series between the positive and negative rails (VR+,VR-). At the midpoint of the divider a median voltage, with respect to the positive and negative rails (VR+,VR-), is output. The converter also includes: - device (CP,P1,AN) to evaluate the difference between the dividers median voltage and that of its nominal value; - as well as device (CCD,AD) to additionally control one or the other of the principal switches (S1,S2), according to the sense of the voltage difference during a period dependant on the amplitude of the difference, so as to cause an additional current in the auxiliary circuit (CA) to correct in part at least the difference.

Convertisseur de puissance comprenant deux commutateurs principaux (S1 et S2) connectant une sortie (S), soit au rail positif (VR+), soit au rail négatif (VR-), deux diodes de roue libre (D1 et D2) permettant le maintien du courant dans la charge (L), deux condensateurs de basculement (C1 et C2) et un circuit auxiliaire (CA) comprenant notamment une inductance auxiliaire (LA) en série avec deux commutateurs auxiliaires (T1 et T2), couplé entre la sortie (S) et un point milieu (M) d'un diviseur de tension capacitif (DC) fournissant une tension médiane. Des moyens évaluent tout écart de ladite tension médiane par rapport à sa valeur nominale, tandis que les commutateurs principaux sont additionnellement commandés selon le sens dudit écart, pendant une durée dépendant de l'amplitude dudit écart, afin de causer un courant additionnel dans ledit circuit auxiliaire (CA) de nature à corriger en partie au moins ledit écart. <IMAGE>
