Bei einem Druckmaschinenzylinder soll eine Schwingungsdämpfung geschaffen werden, mit guten Dämpfungseigenschaften bei kostengünstiger Herstellung. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Druckmaschinenzylinder (1) einstückig ausgebildet und weist in seinem Inneren einen sich in axialer Richtung erstreckenden symmetrischen oder rotationssymmetrischen Kern (29) auf, wobei der Kern und/oder die Kernzapfen ganz oder teilweise mit schwingungsdämpfendem Material umgeben sind.
