Abstract (en)
The pre-mixer burner has a torsionally stabilised inner chamber (18) with an inner body (13) running conically in the flow direction. A mixer pipe (21) is connected downstream of the inner chamber (18) and changes through a cross-sectional jump into a burner chamber (31). A torsional flow (23) flows through the mixer pipe. The cross-sectional jump is formed by a front wall (25) and a reverse flow zone (32) can be produced in the plane of the cross-sectional jump. At least one fuel lance (14) enclosed by an air stream passes preferably centrally through the inner body of the inner chamber with the burner nozzle (17) set in the tip area of the inner body.

Bei einem Vormischbrenner weist der drallstabilisierte Innenraum (18) einen in Strömungsrichtung verlaufenden kegelförmigen Innenkörper (13) auf. Die äussere Ummantelung des Innenraumes (13) ist durch tangential angeordnete Lufteintrittskanäle (11a, 12a) durchbrochen, durch welche ein Verbrennungsluftstrom (16) in den Innenraum (13) strömt. Die sich im Innenraum (13) bildende Drallströmung (23) wird über mindestens eine Brennstoffdüse (17) mit einem Brennstoff angereichert. Im nachgeschalteten Mischrohr (21) erfolgt dann die Gemischbildung der beiden Medien. Das Mischrohr (21) geht anschliessend über einen Querschnittssprung in einen Brennraum (31) über, wobei sich im Bereich der Ebene des Querschnittssprunges eine Rückströmzone (32) bildet, welche die Stabilität der Verbrennung gewährleistet. <IMAGE>
