Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0833120A1] A procedure for feeding a consumer unit (HF) with gas, especially an air gas produced by a cryogen distillation separator, consists of passing the gas through a compressor (21), feeding part of the gas (28) to the consumer unit and passing a second part (23) through a separator (25). In the separator the gas is divided into two flows, one at a higher pressure than the other. The higher pressure flow (24) is fed to the consumer unit, if necessary mixed with the first part (28) of the compressed gas flow, and the lower pressure flow (26) is fed back to the compressor (21).
