Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0833288A2] The system includes a message centre with associated danger notification sensors with a radio transceiver for the wireless danger-massage transmission to the message centre. The individual sensors do not transfer their message data directly to the message centre, during unfavourable radio wave propagation expansion conditions, but successively use one or several other sensors as relay stations for the transmission. The transmission path of a sensor over other sensors is preferably. chosen under consideration of a minimal attenuation of the radio field and/or a minimum number of intermediate stations, whereby the radio contact paths extend from the centre in a tree-like structure.
