Abstract (en)
The handheld distributor has a case (1) with an internal reservoir for a solid thermofusible material (11) stored in granular or lump form. A mechanism (2) is provided to advance the thermofusible material as it is used, and a heater is provided to melt the material. The heater (4) has a low thermal inertia and is formed by wire grille positioned across the outer surface of the thermofusible material to provided melting of the top layer of the material. The grille may be of resistance material heated electrically. A roller head fits over the end of the case, so that it is in contact with the melted material.

Le distributeur à main de matière thermofusible, notamment de cire à épiler, comprend un boîtier (1) formant un moyen de préhension manuelle, à l'intérieur duquel est ménagé un réservoir de matière thermofusible solide (11) en granulés ou sous la forme d'un pain, ce réservoir étant complété de moyens (2) pour avancer la matière thermofusible vers une surface de sortie de ce réservoir, ainsi que des moyens de chauffe de cette matière thermofusible. Ces moyens de chauffe, présentant une faible inertie thermique, sont disposés de manière sensiblement homogène sur toute la surface de sortie du réservoir, et comprennent des passages de la matière thermofusible uniquement à l'état fondu, la face externe des moyens de chauffe constituant la surface de sortie du distributeur. Ces moyens de chauffe peuvent être constitués d'une ou plusieurs résistances électriques, sous la forme d'une grille (4), et ayant une bonne conductibilité thermique. En alternative, les moyens de chauffage sont constitués par la section de la périphérie d'un rouleau de transfert garni de bandes résistives parallèles, seules les bandes de la section étant alimentées. <IMAGE>
