Abstract (en)
The bed base comprises an upper batten (1) and a lower batten (2) which extend one above the other between two ends (3) of the bed frame. The batten ends are fixed by an elastomer shock absorbing piece (40) to the frame ends. An arched leaf spring (5) has its ends (52) mounted to slide on lower batten and a top (51) situated under or in contact with the upper batten. The ends of the leaf spring have slots (53) passed through by the lower batten. The bed upper and lower battens have an adjustable stiffness and for a given adjustment offer progressive stiffness as a function of their load as well as progressive shock absorbing of the load.

Un agencement de lattes supérieure (1) et inférieure (2) dans un sommier comprend un ressort à lame cintré (5) ayant par exemple des extrémités (52) s'appuyant à glissement sur la latte inférieure (2) et un sommet (51) situé sensiblement au-dessous de la latte supérieure (1). Le ressort à lame peut être une latte cintrée en bois dont les extrémités sont fendues ou trouées. L'agencement offre une raideur progressive en fonction de la charge, et permet un positionnement du ressort longitudinalement aux lattes. <IMAGE>
