The display device, comprises a support arm (10) for the goods detachably fitting by push-fit coupling onto locally fixed part of wall plate (30) or similar. A radial projection (41) on one side and a complementary radial recess (42) on the other are formed at least one contact point between the plug which fits on the support arm end and the socket (35) in the wall plate. On pushing in/drawing out the plug the radial projection and recess form the two interconnecting closing halves of a press-stud type connector. At least one half is elastically deformable. The plug comprises two axial sections (15, 27) with different shape resistance so that one part is rotationally secure in the socket and the other forms the closing half of the snap fit connection.

Bei einer Vorrichtung dieser Art sollen Tragarme an beliebigen Stellen an einem ortsfesten Teil der Verkaufseinrichtung durch eine Steckkupplung schnell angebracht und wieder entfernt werden können. Dazu verwendet man als Steckkupplung unrunde Profile an einer Buchse und komplementäre Gegenprofile an einem Stecker. Um eine zuverlässige auszugssichere Steckverbindung zu erhalten, wird vorgeschlagen, an den Berührungsstellen zwischen dem Stecker (20) und der Buchse (35) Schließhälften (41, 42) einer druckknopfartigen Schnappverbindung (40) vorzusehen. Diese bestehen aus mindestens einem Radialvorsprung (41) einerseits und einer komplementären Radialausnehmung (42) andererseits. Dabei wird der Stecker aus zwei axialen Abschnitten unterschiedlicher Art aufgebaut. Der eine Abschnitt (15) ist formfest und sorgt im Einsteckfall für eine verdrehungssichere Lage des Tragarms in der Buchse (35). Der andere Abschnitt (27) ist elastisch verformbar und Träger der Schließhälfte (41) der Schnappverbindung (40). <IMAGE>
