Abstract (en)
A woven fabric band comprises coil wound cords (1), parallel and adjacent to each other, the coils intermeshing with each other to form a flexible joint (3) around an inserted bar (2). Broad sealing bars (4) occupy the free spaces between the coils and one or both sides of the fabric strip has a plastic coating (5) covering at least part of the cords (1). Preferably the inner side of the plastic layer (5) is separated from the sealing bars (4). Both sides of the fabric strip may be coated in plastic (5) so that all parts of the cords are covered by plastic. The surface of at least one plastic layer (5, 5') may be textured to increase conveying ability. The plastic layer (5) is either a meltable polymer, especially polyurethane (PU), polypropylene (PP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVdF), polyamide (PA) or an elastomer. and has a melting point of NOTGREATER 250 degrees C and lower than the melting point of the cords (1).

Bei einem Gewebeband gebildet durch wendelförmig gewundene, parallel nebeneinander angeordnete Fäden (1) deren Wendeln jeweils ineinander greifen und zusammen mit einem eingeschobenen Stab (2) ein Biegegelenk (3) bilden, wobei ggf. in den freien Wendelzwischenräumen jeweils wenigstens ein mehr oder weniger breiter Dichtstab (4) eingesetzt ist, ist mindestens eine Seite des Gewebebandes mit einer Kunststoffschicht (5, 5') versehen, die mindestens einen Teil der Fäden (1) einschließt. <IMAGE>
