Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0834623A2] The heat insulating component (10) is formed as an angle piece (12) with equal or differently long arms (14,16), preferably two to sixteen cm thick. The angle piece in the outwardly located corner area has a longitudinally running drip edge, a ledge or a load rabbet. The arms of the angle piece have a longitudinally running cam or groove system. The heat insulating component has a longitudinally running dilatation groove, which has a depth equal to at least eighty percent of the thickness of the corresponding cross-section part. The insulating component is made of hard foam, plastics, stone wool, glass fibre or cork.
