Abstract (en)
There is described an induction cooling convector (30; 70) suitable for ceiling assembly, for cooling secondary air (14), wherein fresh air (53) is blown as primary air (13) in the longitudinal direction of elongated horizontal air conduction pipes (32). To the air conduction pipes (32), heat pipes (41) are attached, i.e. outside the airflow in the air conduction pipes (32). The air is blow in through nozzles (51; 71) which can be arranged in a wall portion of the air conduction pipes (32) or before the inlet (36) of the air conduction pipes (32). Disposed opposite the outflow opening (35) of the pipes (32) is an inclined guide face (59). The induction cooling convector (30; 70) according to the present invention provides a relatively high induction factor and a good cooling power. The outflowing air flows horizontally along the ceiling. The convector according to the present invention can be used symmetrically, and can even blow out towards two sides simultaneously. <IMAGE>
