Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0834713A2] Insulating cladding consisting of fibrous material which is fastened, directly or indirectly, to the walls by a sewn connection using heat-resistant thread. The thread is passed in a spiral path in the plane of the base of cladding material block through the inside at (6a) and the outside at (6b). In its outward path it passes directly through anchors(8), fixed to the wall(10), or an auxiliary grid(4), which is then anchored to the wall. When used to clad pipes the thread will pass through the whole thickness of the cladding and must therefore be protected from heat by an additional cast layer of concrete. It is understood that the base of the cladding is the cold end.
