Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9733479A1] A generator for essentially dry steam evaporates water as it runs down an inclined heated surface along guide means. The steam is collected near the top of the inclined surface and exits into a cavity via an orifice. This prevents splashes from reaching the cavity. In a preferred embodiment the inclined surface is conical and the guide means is a continuous spiral shaped wall on the conical surface.
