[origin: WO9701529A1] The present invention provides novel ketimine curing agents. The present invention also provides rapidly curing magnetic recording media prepared using certain ketimine curing agents. More specifically, the invention provides rapidly curing magnetic recording media in which the magnetic layer and/or backside coating, if any, of the media is prepared by using a ketimine curing agent in combination with an aromatic isocyanate terminated prepolymer cross-linking agent. The invention also provides dispersions for magnetic media and a method of making magnetic recording media. The invention also provides rapidly curing films prepared using certain ketimine curing agents, film forming dispersions, and a method of making films.
