Abstract (en)
A belt buckle consists of a moulded alloy clasp (1) with a gripper lever (2) for fastening it the end of the belt and a curved section (12) with a transverse trough-shaped recess (13) to receive a semi-rigid plastics insert which holds the crosspiece of the buckle with a force fit. The dimensions of the insert are slightly greater than those of the recess, so it is in a compressed state when fitted, and both the insert and clasp have central slots (46, 18) for the tongue (31) of the buckle.

Dispositif de boucle de ceinture du type comportant une chape métallique pour la solidarisation à la ceinture. La chape (1) est réalisée en alliage moulé et comporte à son extrémité opposée à celle à laquelle est solidarisée la ceinture, une partie recourbée (12) créant un logement transversal (13) en forme de gouttière, destiné à recevoir un insert (4), réalisé en une matière semi-rigide, de forme générale tubulaire, fendu longitudinalement pour permettre d'y introduire en force l'entretoise (30) d'une boucle (3), ledit insert (4) étant de dimensions extérieures légèrement supérieures à celle du logement (13), en sorte que son maintien dans ce dernier est obtenu par sa compression. <IMAGE>
