Abstract (en)

The mechanism has cutting rollers equipped with cutting discs (13) with circular circumferential faces (18) bounded by the cutting edges (16). The cutting discs of one roller engage in the spaces (14) between the discs of the other roller. The circumferential faces of the discs have an irregular roughing at least in the region of the cutting edge, and may be sand or shot blasted. The circumference of the disc is V-shaped with the roughened faces on both sides of the V and bounded by the cutting edges.

Ein Schneidwerk für einen Dokumentenvernichter besteht aus zwei gegenläufig angetriebenen Schneidwalzen (12) mit wechselseitig ineinander eingreifenden Schneidscheiben (13). Insbesondere die zylindrischen umlaufenden Abschnitte der Umfangsflächen (18) sind mit einer unregelmäßigen Aufrauhung (20) in Form beispielsweise einer sandgestrahlten Oberfläche versehen, um die Griffigkeit und das Angriffsverhalten zu verbessern. Durch die Unregelmäßigkeit der Aufrauhung wird eine Schwingungsanregung und Geräuschentwicklung beim Lauf der Schneidwalzen vermieden. <IMAGE>
