Abstract (en)
The packet is of foldable stiff material such as thin cardboard, having a hinging lid (18) at the top with front, rear, side and end walls (12-14,17). A hinge line (31) is formed at the end wall and an inserted locking lug (36) is formed on the lid at the sidewall. At its sidewall (21), the lid comprises two layers, as does the packet sidewall (14). The inner and outer layers are of different dimensions so as to form the inserted locking lug, this typically consisting of a larger and longer outer lug. At the front and rear walls of the lid its butt-joint edges can extend at different angles from the end of the hinge line. The locking lug can consist of a rounded tongue, while the inner side lugs can be of a different shape to this, particularly with a transverse straight sealing edge (38).

Quaderförmige Verpackung für Zigaretten. Hart-Packungen für Zigaretten werden aus dünnem Karton gefertigt. Zur Bildung einer Entnahmeöffnung ist ein sich einseitig, außermittig "über Eck" erstreckender Klappdeckel (18) vorgesehen. Dieser bildet im Bereich einer Stirnwand (17) der Verpackung ein Liniengelenk zur schwenkbaren Verbindung des Klappdeckels (18) mit dem übrigen Teil der Verpackung. Eine Deckel-Seitenwand (21) bildet eine Schließ- bzw. Stecklasche (36), die nach erstmaligem Gebrauch in eine Steckposition zwischen einer Seitenwand (14) und dem Packungsinhalt, also einem Zigaretten-Block (11), eingeschoben werden kann. <IMAGE>
