[origin: EP0835970A1] Scaffolding tube connecting piece for interconnecting two scaffolding tubes in longitudinal direction, comprising a male and a female coupling part (1,2) that can each be undetachably connected, by a connecting end (3,4) thereof, to a scaffolding tube end (T), of which coupling parts (1,2) the maximum external diameter corresponds to the external diameter of the scaffolding tubes (T) to be connected, wherein the male and female coupling parts (1,2) can be interconnected by means of a bayonet connection (7), wherein according to the invention, the bayonet connection (7) is of a self-locking construction through a special selection of the angles of run-on faces (14). <IMAGE>
