Abstract (en)
The regulator of a gas burner (3) has two parallel gas feeds (4,5). One feed (4) has a flow restriction (6) in series with an on/off solenoid valve (8) while the other feed (5) has a switching solenoid (7) in series with a buffer volume (9). The switching solenoid provides a variable mean flow by varying the switching frequency or by varying the spatial ratio of the on/off periods. The buffer volume is sufficiently large to even out the pressure variation from the switching valve. The flow restriction provides a between one sixth and one twentieth of the maximum flow through the switching valve ie. the fully open flow through the switching valve.

Eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum gesteuerten Reduzieren des einer Brennerdüse (3) eines gasbetriebenen Koch- oder Backgerätes über eine Gaszuleitung (1) zugeführten Gasstromes (Q) sollen zur Einstellung des Gasstromes in mit hoher Genauigkeit reproduzierbaren Stufen dadurch verbessert werden, daß sie eine Verzweigung der Gaszuleitung (1) in zwei parallel geschaltete Teilgasleitungen (4,5) aufweist, wobei die erste Teilgasleitung (4) ein Drosselelement (6) zum Drosseln des sie durchströmenden Teilgasstromes (Q1) und die zweite Teilgasleitung (5) ein Taktschaltelement (7) zum getakteten Ein- und Ausschalten des sie durchströmenden Teilgasstromes (Q2) umfaßt und das Drosselelement (6) und das Taktschaltelement (7) jeweils auf ihrer Gasausgangsseite mit der Brennerdüse (3) in Verbindung stehen. Die Gasausgangsseite des Taktschaltelementes (7) ist mit einem Pufferspeicher (9) verbunden. Mittels einer Steuereinrichtung mit verstellbarer Frequenz und/oder verstellbarem Ein/Aus-Taktverhältnis ist das Taktschaltelement (7) ein- und ausschaltbar. <IMAGE>
