Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0836292A2] The method involves using a location list for selection with references to preceding and subsequent regions in a cyclical sequence. One of the regions is selected by moving up and down the cyclical sequence. In order to select suitable characteristics from the location list, information read from the location list is compared with location characterising information in the received messages. The output depends on the results of the comparison.
