[origin: WO9700047A2] A surgical kit and method for performing laparoscopic urethropexy for the correction of female stress urinary incontinence are provided, as well as the apparatus employed in this procedure. The apparatus include a bone anchor, an anchor-insertion tool, a drill tamper tool, a suture retriever and a template. Urethropexy is accomplished by laparoscopically securing one or more anchors to the pubic bone using the anchor-insertion tool and the drill tamper tool.
