Abstract (en)
The cigarette case (1) is shaped to fit into the palm of the hand and has a press tab (9) on one narrow side. The tab is attached to a linkage inside the case which opens a slider to free the dispensing hole in the top of the case. At the same time another linkage, connected to the press tab, lifts a cigarette out of the case. The one handed operation extends one cigarette to be gripped by the mouth. A lighter (6) is clipped into a recess on one side of the case and is operated by the thumb of the hand holding the case. The press tab and operating linkage can be plastic with a set amount of flexibility, eliminating the need for springs.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Zigarettenspender (1), der aus einem Vorratsbehälter (2) und einer mit einer verschließbaren Austrittsöffnung (4) versehenen abnehmbaren Abschlußkappe (3) besteht, wobei eine Transportvorrichtung für das teilweise Ausschieben der Zigarette (5) vorgesehen ist, die von einem federelastischen Rückstellelement (11) beaufschlagt ist. Durch die Erfindung soll ein solcher Zigarettenspender derart ausgestaltet werden, daß er ohne Zuhilfenahme der Augen durch weniger Handgriffe und aus einer Handstellung heraus bedienbar ist und darüber hinaus eine Abkürzung der Rauchvorbereitungsphase bewirkt. Das wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, daß an dem Vorratsbehälter eine Bedienungstaste (9) vorgesehen ist, die auf ein Federelement (11) wirkt, das einen die Austrittsöffnung verschließenden Schieber (10) betätigt und die Transportvorrichtung trägt sowie an einem Einschubteil (13) gehalten ist, das im Vorratsbehälter einen weiteren Raum zur Aufnahme eines Feuerzeugs (7) bereitstellt, wobei die unsymmetrische Außenkontur und die Anordnung der Bedienungstaste der Anatomie der menschlichen Hand angepaßt sind. <IMAGE>
