[origin: EP0836815A2] A carrying container, eg a suitcase, bag, etc., comprises walls made of light weight material pressed into plates. The walls and sides are joined by connecting members. The latter consist of seam slats (34) which are fixed to the edges of the walls (11,12,22), and cut-outs (35) and/or projections, which can accommodate plastic holding members (33) attached to the sides (13).The plate material pref. consists of a polyester fibre fleece or a foamed material such as expanded polypropylene.
