Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0837208A1] The door (1) with an espagnolette bolt has a drive for displacing a rod (2) in translation. This rod activates a door manoeuvring actuator (5). A brake (7) comprises a connecting rod (8) fixed to translate with the rod (2) and with the door actuator. An elastic sleeve (9) surrounding the connecting rod is housed in a brake casing (10). The brake casing has internal walls (10a) which compress the sleeve around the connecting rod when the rod is displaced in translation. The sleeve comprises a truncated cylinder portion and a truncated section centred on the connecting rod axis. The brake casing has a cavity with a cylindrical section portion and a truncated section which houses the sleeve.
