[origin: WO9734778A1] The invention concerns a vehicle-mounted device for loading and unloading interchangeable load bodies, in particular collection containers, the device having a lifting frame (7) divided into two parts by an articulation shaft (10) which runs at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The lifting frame extends under the interchangeable load body (15) and is driven to pivot by a drive unit (12) mounted on the vehicle chassis (6). The rear part (8) of the lifting frame is articulated on the vehicle chassis with a tilt shaft (9) and the front part (11) of the frame is equipped with a sliding element which is connected to a drive and fitted with an arm (13) whose far ends has a hook (14) which can be inserted in an eye (16) located on the face of the interchangeable load body (15) to be loaded or unloaded, slightly above the base of the body (15).
