[origin: JPH10127310A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt buckle for a seat belt for enabling highly cost effective manufacture by eliminating the danger of manufacturing an excessively widened frame and evading the attachment by rivets of an upper side part and a lower side part. SOLUTION: This belt buckle is provided with load carrying frames 3 and 3' provided with the upper side part 21 and the lower side part 23 almost parallel to it, the insertion tongue piece of an attachment part is received between the upper side part and the lower side part and the upper side part and the lower side part are formed by bending a thin and long planar part. The upper side part 21 and the lower side part 23 are combined in the area of the free end parts by bending at least a part of one of the upper side part and the lower side part around the adjacent parts of the corresponding other parts 21 and 23 at respective two side edges 27 and 29.

Ein Gurtschloß für einen Sicherheitsgurt, mit einem lasttragenden Rahmen (3, 3'), der ein Oberteil (21) und ein im wesentlichen dazu paralleles Unterteil (23) aufweist, zwischen denen eine Steckzunge eines Beschlagteils aufgenommen werden kann und die durch Umbiegen eines länglichen, plattenförmigen Teils, insbesondere eines Stanzteils (1; 1'), gebildet sind, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Ober- und das Unterteil (21, 23) im Bereich ihrer freien Enden formschlüssig miteinander verbunden sind, indem an jedem der beiden Seitenränder (27, 29) wenigstens ein Abschnitt des Ober- oder des Unterteils (21, 23) um einen daran angrenzenden Abschnitt des jeweils anderen Teils (21, 23) gebogen ist. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
