Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0838422A1] An apparatus for winding a yarn on a bobbin has a reciprocating yarn guide (6) as a tine on an axis (8) at right angles to the bobbin axis (S). An energy store system (15), to affect the acceleration and deceleration of the yarn guide (6), acts only on a short path of its movement at the direction change zone. The energy store (15) has an adjustable position. Preferably from the start of the yarn guide (6) deceleration phase towards the direction change point, kinetic energy from the yarn guide (6) is converted into an energy potential, which is released to the guide (6) after it has passed the direction change point. The energy store (15) is mounted to a carrier (14) which oscillates on the axis (8). The position of the energy store (15) is set by altering the amplitude of the carrier (14) movement.
